RESIDENTIAL SERVICES COORDINATOR
This position is responsible for the leadership, coordination and administration of nominated houses within the Supported Independent Living (SIL) Program of Haven Care Australia. The House Coordinator will manage and lead a team of support workers in the delivery of this service; they will uphold Haven Care Australia's values and ways of working while aiming for continuous improvement in their delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be flexible in the management style to respond to the needs and dynamics of a large and diverse team.
To oversee the provision of services within the house including; support to residents, monitoring of services given to residents, staffing adequacy and monitor any required day today needs and outcomes of given houses.
To initiate necessary administrative tasks such as maintenance of record keeping, asset records, efficient management of finances and purchases for stationary/utilities of the given houses.
Maintain direct reporting to the Service Coordinator/ Director and take accountability for self actions.
Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with WH&S standards and policies and procedures
Attend meetings within and outside haven care Australia in regards to resident's matters.
Develop strong relationships both within Haven Care Australia and with key stakeholders
Develop and implement high quality Recovery plans or Individual Plans for residents of SIL Programme.
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum Certificate IV in an appropriate Health, Administration, and/or Human Services field, or extensive, relevant experience in care coordination and the administration of consumer-centred services.
Minimum one year experience working with and understanding the needs of people living with mental ill health or disability.
Current First Aid certificate
Current Working with Vulnerable people Card
A current Australian driver’s licence
National Police check conducted within 12 months of application.
